Did you know that most guitar students give up on learning the electric or acoustic guitar because they did not get the right instruction from the get go? Most try to learn on their on their own via books or Youtube and it rarely ends in success. They quit because they think the guitar is not for them.
That’s the furthest from the truth. Our electric and acoustic guitar lessons help you or your child learn to play in a structured and motivating way. This will save you from years of frustration of learning on your own or with cheap bargain instructors.
Learning guitar does not have to be hard. I should know, I wasted years trying to learn to play guitar on my own.
I thought it would be easy to just pick up a book and teach myself to play guitar. Boy was I wrong. It wasn’t until I found an experienced teacher and took guitar lessons that I actually made the progress I wanted to.
We want to give you the electric and acoustic guitar lessons we wish we had when we were learning.
A good guitar teacher will help:
- Motivate you to keep making progress and reaching your goals
- Answer your questions and solve your problems
- Teach you what to practice and exactly how to do it

- Provide opportunities to those that desire to perform and write their own music
We do all this and more. Our unique approach to learning electric and acoustic guitar ensures that you are learning exactly what you need to learn at the right time while also having the opportunity to have fun creating music with others in the process.

I’ve been playing guitar for over 20 years but I really haven’t improved much, so I decided to get some professional help…it’s been a great experience for me. If you want to improve, you’re going to improve faster if you take lessons. You can always go on the web and look things up and learn things, but your rate of improvement is going to improve if you have somebody watching you and guiding you through what you’re doing. It’s a really good investment if you are looking to step up your game and become a better playerTodd
About 6 months ago, I decided to finally take up guitar lessons, which has always been a dream of mine for a number of years. I have always loved all styles of music, but in particular the Blues. After 6 short months I am now playing blues chords and having a ball. My instructor Kevin has been great! He has the right combination of skills, technique and the patience to help someone like myself who is taking up this challenge later in life to learn to play guitar. I am so glad that I made this decision and would recommend the LB Music School to anyone.

I’m a 53 year old lawyer with three teenagers. I started taking lessons with LB Music School last year and I can honestly say taking guitar lessons is one of the best decisions I’ve made. I have no music background and no “natural talent”, but I love music. I look forward to my weekly lessons because it’s a total change from the rest of my life. The approach is steady and gauged towards results…After a year, I’m playing the Stones, Eagles and Buffet with enough skill to earn compliments from my wife and kids, difficult critics to say the least.
